Position Overview: Leverett's Chapel ISD is seeking a dedicated and certified Agriculture Teacher with a strong background in Agricultural Mechanics. The ideal candidate will possess a wide breadth of knowledge in agricultural sciences and demonstrate expertise in areas such as welding, machinery maintenance, carpentry, and other mechanical aspects of agriculture.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Texas teaching certification in Agriculture Science.

  • Possession of a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or willingness to obtain one upon employment.

  • Proven experience or specialization in Agricultural Mechanics.

  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students from diverse backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary: $1,500 above the state base.

  • Insurance: District contributes $333 towards employee insurance premiums.
