The Lion Varsity Band earned first division ratings in both concert and sight-reading at UIL today! Way to go band!




The Leverett's Chapel Lion Band (7th-12th) will be performing in the UIL Concert and Sight-Reading Contest on Monday, March 25th. The concert portion will be at 10:45am followed by Sight-Reading. This will be in the Troup HS auditorium. The public is invited to view both performances. Parents please send your child/children with extra money for lunch!

Congratulations to Justin Howard for being inducted into the Kilgore College chapter of Sigma Kappa Delta, the national English honor society for two-year colleges. To become a member of Sigma Kappa Delta, students must uphold a minimum grade point average of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale, achieve no grades lower than a "B" in English classes, and complete at least one semester of college studies. Once again, congratulations on this outstanding achievement!

Today's baseball game against Beckville has been relocated to Panola College field due to the weather. The game is scheduled to start at 5PM, with a $5 entrance fee at the gate.

Junior High Students Excel at UIL Competitions in Sulphur Bluff
Last week, our Junior High students showcased their talents and skills at the UIL Competitions held in Sulphur Bluff. A total of 15 students participated and we are proud of each and every one of them. Our heartfelt congratulations go out to all the students and coaches for their hard work and dedication.
