Last week we had a handful of LC students participate in the Rusk County Youth Project Show in Henderson. Carson Ford and Wyatt Ford made the sale with their roasters and broilers. Wyatt also made the sale with his wildlife game hanger. Blane, Bailea, and Brynlea Reeves participated in the creative arts projects. Blane received a blue ribbon for his project; Brynlea received rosettes for her color picture art; Bailea took home the Reserve Grand Champion (2nd place) with her cedar 3D wolf birdhouse. Asa Cook, Kristen Shaw received blue ribbons for their shop project while Joey Peery received a red ribbon for his shop project. We are also proud to say that Bailea Reeves took home the Grand Champion Overall (1st place) for her shop project with her buck board wagon planter. She was competing against ALL the schools in Rusk County. Congratulations to all of our participants this year. You represented Leverett's Chapel very well. Thank you to Mr. Tidwell for all his hard work getting his students ready this year for the show.
